Kiersten is a 20-something HBCU graduate yielding a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Biology and currently studying dental medicine at a North Carolina dental school. As a North Carolina native, Kiersten seeks to study and improve oral health care disparities within her state through educational outreach programs emphasizing the importance of preventive oral hygiene practices. Kiersten also takes a special interest in mentoring today's youth, especially young women. In her spare time Kiersten enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping,  partaking in outdoor activies, and running.
